Assistant Superintendent

Job Summary

McCarthy Building Companies is seeking an Assistant Superintendent in Atlanta to support project delivery and build experience for future field leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with scheduling, project controls, cost tracking, and subcontract administration.
• Coordinate field staff development and provide administrative support to the Superintendent.
• Track payment applications, change requests, change orders, claims, and project forecasts.
• Support safety, equal employment, and quality programs, and help lead project closeout.

Required Experience

• At least three years of construction project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• General knowledge of construction processes and principles.
• Experience managing field staff and a demonstrated commitment to safety and owner relationships.
• Experience with self-perform work is preferred.
