Concrete Foreman

Job Summary

Lead concrete finishing crews at Swinerton job sites, coordinating work and ensuring it meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans, estimate labor and materials, schedule work, and assign crew tasks.
• Oversee concrete preparation and placement, including checking reinforcement, openings, and sleeves.
• Maintain equipment, records, and inventory; enter crew time using Exaktime.
• Coach employees, address performance, and anticipate and resolve job-site issues.

Required Experience

• Three to five years of experience as a cement-finisher foreman or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of concrete mixes, slump, sealers, hardeners, and curing methods.
• Physical ability to lift or pull 50–100 pounds, work at heights, and perform tasks in varied weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills and adherence to OSHA and company safety procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

$36.50–$38.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid vacation and sick time, and additional voluntary benefits.
