Condition Assessment Senior Consultant

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Condition Assessment Senior Consultant to lead technical delivery, client development, and regional practice growth from its Phoenix office. The role supports infrastructure owners managing aging assets and requires coordination with national technical teams.

Project Details

Projects focus on assessing pipelines and facilities, evaluating asset performance, and planning rehabilitation, maintenance, replacement, and other lifecycle strategies for West region clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead condition assessment, rehabilitation, and aging infrastructure assignments as a project manager, engineering manager, or technical leader.
• Coordinate clients and technical staff while overseeing quality, budgets, schedules, deliverables, and project execution.
• Develop client relationships, identify opportunities, support proposals and presentations, and expand follow-on services.
• Set hiring priorities, supervise technical staff, and mentor team members in their career development.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience and at least seven years in a business or consulting environment.
• At least eight years of client development and project execution experience involving condition assessment, planning, or asset management.
• Professional Engineer registration in Arizona is preferred.
• Experience leading project teams, developing business, and winning condition assessment work.
• Ability to work in confined spaces when project conditions require it.

Compensation and Benefits

The position is relocation eligible and may offer hybrid or flexible work options after the first 90 days, subject to management discretion.
