Construction Project Manager - Tampa Market

Job Summary

Barton Malow Builders is hiring a Construction Project Manager to support project delivery from its Tampa office and help lead work throughout the Greater Tampa Region.

Project Details

The Florida portfolio includes healthcare, higher education, commercial, and sports and entertainment construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities, including bidder outreach, scope development, bid analysis, subcontract preparation, and pre-bid coordination.
• Develop project schedules, logistics plans, cash-flow forecasts, manpower projections, constructability reviews, and startup plans.
• Oversee jobsite safety, punchlist completion, emergency readiness, labor relations, equipment coordination, and mechanical and electrical coordination.
• Manage general conditions, trade budgets, cost reporting, change management, cash management, and project profitability.
• Coordinate project meetings, RFIs, submittals, closeout procedures, agency acceptance, architect and engineer communications, and business-development support.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least six years of general contractor or construction management experience.
• Healthcare construction experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to support projects across the Greater Tampa Region.
