Construction Safety Manager

Job Summary

Fisk Electric is hiring a Construction Safety Manager for its California Division, based in Los Angeles. The role oversees divisional health and safety programs and coordinates with project teams and clients.

Fisk delivers electrical systems, structured cabling, security systems, and building technology solutions. Its project portfolio includes transit, airport, stadium, and data center work.

Responsibilities

• Orient new employees, deliver field safety training, and maintain training records.
• Review safety performance across jobsites, perform audits, lead toolbox meetings, and correct identified deficiencies.
• Support project managers and superintendents with project-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Manage electrical PPE, safety equipment, incident investigations, accident reporting, injury case coordination, and return-to-work activities.
• Maintain OSHA records, safety meeting minutes, safety procedures, and the hazardous communication program.
• Coordinate drug testing, background checks, fleet safety monitoring, and required employment postings.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of progressive construction safety experience, with commercial and industrial electrical safety expertise.
• OSHA 500 required; CHST or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and electrical hazard mitigation across high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification required; CEST, CESW, or CESCP certification preferred.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and provide field training on electrical safety, confined spaces, fall protection, and other safety topics.
• Must meet company vehicle-driver standards and applicable customer badging and background requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected annual salary range is $130,000–$170,000, depending on experience.
