Equipment Foreman

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Equipment Foreman in Dallas to coordinate equipment operations, deliveries, warehouse activity, fleet maintenance, and field support for Blue Hat operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment operations, including deliveries, pickups, warehousing, service, hoisting, and inventory control.
• Schedule equipment and material distribution among jobsites, vendors, and operations centers.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance, repairs, vehicle cleanliness, equipment readiness, and inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate records for equipment movement, repairs, operating costs, timesheets, and DOT compliance.
• Review driver logs and records, support regulatory administration, and ensure delivery vehicles are properly maintained.
• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries and recommend fleet purchases, rotations, and chargeable repairs.
• Support safety initiatives, investigate incidents, retrain staff when needed, and identify process improvements.

Required Experience

• At least five years of equipment operations experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with equipment rental operations, warehouse organization, inventory storage, maintenance, repair, and order fulfillment.
• Ability to operate a forklift or other distribution equipment and identify common construction materials and equipment.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills and intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
