Job Summary

Kiewit Fleet Services is seeking an Equipment Superintendent to lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, utilization, and reliability efforts for regional crane and marine equipment operations. The position is based in Seattle and supports both office and project field environments.

Project Details

The role supports heavy construction equipment fleets, with emphasis on crane and marine operations, maintenance, readiness, and mechanical reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership for equipment maintenance and readiness based on project requirements.
• Manage equipment planning, scheduling, utilization, budgeting, and reliability.
• Promote safe, high-quality performance through hands-on leadership and supervision.
• Record and track maintenance and equipment utilization in company data systems.

Required Experience

• At least five years of heavy construction equipment maintenance, repair, and utilization experience.
• Heavy crane and marine equipment experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with or ability to learn equipment database technology.
• Ability to work across office and field settings and communicate with district, project, staff, and craft personnel.
