Weeks Construction - Superintendent- Northeast Region-New York/New Jersey/Connecticut

Job Summary

Weeks Marine is seeking a construction superintendent to lead field operations for heavy civil and marine infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast region. The superintendent will coordinate crews, craft workers, engineers, and project teams while maintaining safe, productive, and timely execution.

Project Details

The position supports active work in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Relevant project scopes may include ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges, and other waterfront infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple crews and craft employees across assigned construction activities.
• Manage productivity, safety, quality, schedule performance, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate with engineers, foremen, superintendents, and project teams to maintain workflow.
• Support scheduling, cost control, material ordering, and equipment planning.
• Set performance expectations, address workforce issues, and communicate field conditions to management.
• Enforce company safety, attendance, conduct, and operational procedures.

Required Experience

• Five to ten or more years of construction experience, including at least three years in supervision.
• Heavy civil infrastructure experience required; marine infrastructure and waterfront project experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and understand construction disciplines, safety requirements, schedules, cost controls, drawings, and project documents.
• Crane experience and Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency are preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends when project needs require.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $138,000-$144,000 per year. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life and disability insurance, retirement matching, and paid time off.
