Job Summary

Kiewit's TIC Power division is hiring an Electrical Superintendent to oversee all electrical construction activities on large-scale power generation and industrial EPC projects across the U.S. This is a traveling role with assignments spanning Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, Virginia, and beyond.

Project Details

TIC Power specializes in cogeneration, combined-cycle, geothermal, and waste-to-energy power plant projects throughout North America, delivered with a non-union workforce. Projects are major EPC engagements with an emphasis on quality and sustainable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all electrical construction activities on assigned power generation projects.
  • Direct craft personnel and coordinate daily work plans to hit project milestones.
  • Enforce company safety policies and regulatory compliance across the field.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, quality, and scheduling teams.
  • Monitor productivity, manpower, equipment utilization, and construction progress.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and work packages to keep construction aligned with project requirements.
  • Identify and resolve field issues to minimize schedule and cost impacts.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop field personnel; participate in planning meetings and safety reviews.
  • Support turnover and commissioning activities to close out projects.

Required Experience

  • Prior experience as an Electrical Superintendent, General Superintendent, or Senior Electrical Supervisor on industrial, power generation, or EPC construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation, construction sequencing, and field execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large craft workforces and multiple subcontractors.
  • Working knowledge of safety, quality, scheduling, and productivity management practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and electrical documentation.
  • Willingness to travel and work at project locations as required.
