Field Engineer 1, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Field Engineer 1 to support field execution on mission critical construction projects while developing foundational construction and project coordination skills.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale data center, semiconductor, and industrial and manufacturing projects through teams working across the country.

Responsibilities

• Support self-perform construction activities and complete assigned work as part of a skilled craft crew.
• Participate in project safety planning, weekly work planning, and team meetings.
• Use construction tools and equipment while learning layout, rigging, crane flagging, and building methods.
• Build working relationships with craft workers, foremen, superintendents, subcontractors, and project staff.
• Apply company standards, Lean practices, and productivity principles to daily field activities.

Required Experience

• 0-2 years of construction experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, construction management methods, Lean processes, and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform accurate, timely work and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
