Field Engineer - New Grad 2027

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is hiring a Field Engineer for its Bellevue team. This entry-level role provides training, mentorship, and hands-on experience supporting construction operations and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support inspections, orientations, hazard identification, and field safety practices.
• Coordinate workforce planning with the superintendent and assist with trade contractor management.
• Maintain project documentation and support RFIs, shop drawings, changes, and billings.
• Help supervise self-perform work, including crew planning, labor tracking, and quantity reporting.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and site reviews.
• Support quality plans and Inspection and Test Plan implementation.
• Build effective relationships with project partners and coach field engineers and interns.

Required Experience

• Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Internship or up to approximately one year of field engineering or coordination experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction specifications, methods, scheduling, equipment, self-perform work, and subcontracted scopes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical communication with contractors, designers, and inspectors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software.

Compensation and Benefits
