Project Engineer

Job Summary

Support a construction project team while learning company processes and gaining experience in both field and office operations. The role is based at a project site for at least six months, ideally for the project’s full duration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and track RFIs, shop drawings, and project plan updates.
• Verify field dimensions and help coordinate deliveries from vendors and subcontractors.
• Learn site safety and logistics procedures and participate in permit inspections.
• Join punch-list inspections, document outstanding items, and follow their completion.
• Help prepare and update the project schedule.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field.
• Knowledge of estimating, cost control, and material pricing.
• Ability to perform calculations and understand construction drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost-coding systems.
• Ability to take responsibility and communicate effectively with others.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary range of $73,800–$92,300, depending on location and the selected candidate’s qualifications.
