Fleet HSE Director

Job Summary

Lead Primoris Fleet’s health, safety, and environmental function across its U.S. and Canadian shop and office locations. Develop and oversee the fleet HSE management system, support operations, and guide the HSE team.

Project Details

Primoris provides infrastructure services across utility, energy, renewables, communications, and transportation markets, including utility-scale solar and power delivery.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Fleet HSE team and help deliver annual safety objectives.
• Coordinate incident reviews, investigations, corrective actions, and communication of lessons learned.
• Monitor HSE performance, regulatory changes, and management-system effectiveness; recommend improvements.
• Support training, audits, inspections, and safety compliance at shop and office locations.
• Lead HSE system updates, standardize documentation, and chair the Fleet Executive HSE Committee.
• Mentor and supervise HSE Coordinators, Administrators, and Field Technicians.

Required Experience

• Four-year degree in occupational safety or health, or equivalent training and experience.
• At least five years of experience as a Safety Manager.
• Knowledge of safety regulations; fleet and heavy-equipment safety experience is preferred.
• A BCSP-issued safety professional designation or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication and supervisory skills.
