Job Summary

Ames Construction is seeking a Foreman to guide construction crews and support safe, timely, and quality project delivery in Farmington, New Mexico.

Project Details

Ames works on heavy civil and industrial construction, including highways, bridges, mines, dams, and rail. This project is based in Farmington, with future assignments potentially located nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Organize daily crew assignments and adjust plans as conditions, materials, or staffing change.
• Assign work, mentor and supervise workers, and coordinate with contractors.
• Support project schedules, quality standards, safe work practices, and proper use of equipment.
• Communicate project status and resolve coordination issues with supervisors, engineers, and other parties.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of supervisory or related experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, tools, technical drawings, and construction technologies.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work, support project completion, and communicate effectively.
