Electrical Commissioning Foreman

Job Summary

Lead and perform electrical commissioning work while guiding field personnel through checkout, testing, and startup activities.

Project Details

Work takes place on active construction sites, including data center projects, in the Dulles area and within a 200-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Direct crews, coordinate daily work and resources, and lead team huddles.
• Perform commissioning tasks and ensure testing and installation work meets plans, quality standards, schedules, and applicable electrical requirements.
• Promote safe work practices, maintain accurate documentation, and address or escalate field issues.
• Mentor team members and coordinate workflow with supervisors and colleagues.

Required Experience

• At least six years of construction-related or data center experience.
• Strong field technical knowledge, including motor controls, PLCs, and industrial systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and commissioning processes and teach others to read schematics and one-line drawings.
• Field leadership experience, preferably on data center projects.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical electrical degree is preferred.
• Willingness to work on active construction sites and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
