Project Manager - QA/QC

Job Summary

Interstates seeks a QA/QC Project Manager to oversee electrical construction quality from planning and installation through testing, turnover, and closeout on a mission-critical data center project.

Project Details

The role is based at a large-scale data center project in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The travel assignment is dedicated to one project, typically lasting 6 months to 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead project quality planning, inspections, audits, documentation, and field reviews.
• Coordinate with project leadership, field teams, clients, commissioning partners, subcontractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Track deficiencies and punch-list items, drive corrective actions, and address recurring quality issues.
• Review project documents and support pre-installation planning, testing, commissioning, and system turnover.
• Report quality status and promote safe, consistent execution throughout construction.

Required Experience

• Experience in QA/QC, quality management, field engineering, project management, or electrical construction on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of electrical construction methods, NEC requirements, quality standards, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documents, and manage inspections, punch lists, and turnover records.
• Data center experience is preferred; experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Bluebeam, or similar software is preferred.
• A related bachelor's degree is preferred; equivalent electrical construction or QA/QC experience may be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $100,000-$135,000, with compensation based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include 401(k) with company match, insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, performance bonuses, merit increases, and applicable per diem and travel benefits.
