Project Manager - QA/QC

Job Summary

Interstates is hiring a QA/QC Project Manager to oversee electrical construction quality on a large-scale data center project in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The role coordinates with project leadership, field teams, clients, commissioning partners, and subcontractors to support quality from planning through testing and closeout.

Project Details

Travel role supporting a mission-critical data center project based in Muskogee. The assignment is to one project from start to finish, with typical project durations of six months to three years.

Responsibilities

• Lead project-wide electrical construction quality efforts and maintain quality plans, inspection processes, and documentation.
• Inspect work and review project documents to identify quality risks and confirm compliance with specifications, NEC requirements, client standards, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Track deficiencies and punch lists, coordinate inspections, and drive timely corrective actions.
• Support pre-installation planning, commissioning, testing, system turnover, and project quality meetings.
• Analyze recurring issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and coach field personnel on quality practices.

Required Experience

• Experience in QA/QC, quality management, field engineering, project management, or electrical construction on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, NEC requirements, quality standards, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and technical documentation.
• Experience managing inspections, quality records, punch lists, and turnover packages.
• Data center or mission-critical experience is highly preferred; experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Bluebeam, or similar software is preferred.
• A related bachelor's degree is preferred; equivalent electrical construction or QA/QC experience will be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $100,000-$135,000, with compensation based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include 401(k) with company match, insurance coverage, paid time off, holiday pay, performance bonuses, merit increases, and per diem and travel benefits where applicable.
