Project Manager - QA/QC

Job Summary

Interstates is hiring a QA/QC Project Manager to oversee electrical construction quality on a major data center project in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The role works with project leadership, field teams, clients, commissioning partners, and subcontractors to support quality from planning through final turnover.

Project Details

Lead quality efforts on a mission-critical data center construction project based in Muskogee. The travel assignment is dedicated to one project, with typical project durations ranging from six months to three years.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain quality plans, inspection processes, and project documentation.
• Conduct field inspections, audits, and site walks; track deficiencies and drive timely corrective action.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, commissioning teams, engineers, subcontractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to identify quality risks before installation.
• Verify testing, commissioning, and turnover records, and identify root causes of recurring issues.
• Share quality updates, recommend improvements, and coach field teams on quality practices.
• Promote integration of safety and quality across project execution.

Required Experience

• Experience in QA/QC, quality management, field engineering, project management, or electrical construction on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of electrical construction, NEC requirements, testing, commissioning, and project turnover.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and technical documents.
• Experience managing inspections, quality records, punch lists, and turnover packages.
• Data center or other mission-critical construction experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Bluebeam, or similar software is preferred.
• A related bachelor's degree is preferred; equivalent electrical construction or QA/QC experience may be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary is $100,000-$135,000, with compensation based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include 401(k) with company match, insurance coverage, paid time off, holiday pay, performance bonuses, merit increases, and per diem and travel benefits where applicable.
