HSE Student

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking an HSE Student for a full-time summer internship or co-op in Denver. The role provides hands-on experience supporting project health, safety, and environmental programs while working with the district HSE team and an assigned mentor.

Responsibilities

• Support site inspections, incident investigations, employee orientations, and safety training.
• Maintain project safety records and distribute HSE metrics and documentation.
• Help develop and implement project-specific HSE plans and company safety programs.
• Assist with database updates, PSI program monitoring, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.

Required Experience

• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the United States.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available full time from May through August.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction-related software.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, hazard anticipation and assessment, and occupational health or industrial hygiene practices.
• OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certificate of training.

Compensation and Benefits
