ME Engineer 2 Electrical, Mission Critical

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking an ME Engineer 2 specializing in electrical work to support advanced facilities and mission-critical construction projects. The role contributes to preconstruction, field coordination, quality, and commissioning activities while working with project teams and clients.

JE Dunn’s Advanced Facilities Group delivers large-scale industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for innovative clients.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical systems, develop system schedules, and support sequencing solutions.
• Review subcontractor submittals, shop drawings, design documents, and constructability concerns.
• Prepare budgetary M/E estimates, scopes of work, bid analyses, and systems evaluations.
• Perform site inspections and report findings to the project team.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, and functional testing procedures.
• Support projects from startup through closeout and communicate work products to clients.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, architectural engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least two years of construction and/or engineering experience.
• Ability to interpret plans, drawings, and specifications and understand construction management methods.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, designers, and clients.
