Nas Project Engineer

Job Summary

Nassal Construction, part of the employee-owned PCL family, is seeking a Project Engineer for its Orlando team. This regular full-time role supports project administration, contract management, scheduling, design coordination, safety, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs, surveys, progress reports, estimates, and change order analyses.
• Administer subcontractor scopes, contracts, inquiries, pricing, progress, and documentation.
• Support project startup, tender packages, subcontract awards, and schedule development and monitoring.
• Coordinate with designers and engineers on drawings, submittals, construction methods, and material alternatives.
• Review subcontractor submittals for scope, design, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Promote project safety and quality programs.

Required Experience

• Detailed knowledge of construction equipment, methods, sequences, drawings, specifications, materials, standards, HSE, and quality practices.
• Working knowledge of construction law and building codes.
• Ability to manage comprehensive schedules, subcontracts, contract documents, and competing priorities.
• Strong engineering problem-solving, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment and influence project decisions.
