Project Engineer

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking a Project Engineer in Denver to support project delivery through subcontract coordination, document control, cost and schedule tracking, and field collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support trade partner coordination, subcontract administration, scope clarification, and progress monitoring.
• Assist with change orders, pricing, and evaluation of cost and schedule impacts.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, as-built records, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, designers, and trade partners on safety, quality, schedule, and performance matters.
• Prepare progress claims and estimates, track materials and equipment, and expedite orders.
• Participate in inspections, constructability issue resolution, code and authority requirements, and project closeout.

Required Experience

• One to three years of construction experience in an operational role is preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, equipment, drawings, specifications, HSE, quality requirements, and building materials.
• Ability to apply basic engineering and problem-solving principles to construction issues.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, time management, scheduling, subcontract coordination, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technology and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits
