Job Summary

Garney is seeking a Project Engineer in Charlotte to support the project management team on federal construction work. This entry-level opportunity is suited to a detail-oriented professional developing project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare submittals and requests for information.
• Coordinate project activities from startup through closeout.
• Support estimating, scheduling, field operations, and crew coordination.
• Assist with material purchasing and maintain project documentation and job-cost records.
• Communicate professionally with owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

Required Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Strong organization, planning, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel and work the hours required by project needs.
