Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Sundt is seeking a Project Engineer to support water and wastewater construction projects. The role provides technical project support and coordinates with owners, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff.

The position is focused on water and wastewater construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement schedules, materials, equipment, and submittals with project schedules and contract requirements.
• Support project planning, cost controls, change management, and contract administration.
• Maintain as-built documents, project logs, quantity reports, meeting records, and closeout materials.
• Prepare and review change orders, track potential claims, and help resolve project impacts.
• Coordinate and support project team members, including Field Engineers when needed.

Required Experience

• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Three to four years of similar construction engineering experience.
• Knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and project coordination.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage, supervise, or train team members.
