Project Manager 1

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 1 to direct project operations and administration in partnership with the Project Superintendent. The role manages project teams, clients, design professionals, subcontractors, budgets, schedules, safety, and closeout activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project startup, preconstruction coordination, procurement, subcontractor buyout, and contract administration.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage submittals, change requests, pay applications, project meetings, schedules, cost reporting, and forecasting.
• Monitor risks, quality, safety, resources, and schedule impacts while developing mitigation plans.
• Maintain project documentation and direct the financial and operational closeout process.
• Support JE Dunn's injury-free safety culture and investigate incidents as needed.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least five years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction management processes, project accounting, scheduling, construction technology, and Lean practices.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and advanced project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software skills.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in project-site and office environments.

Compensation and Benefits
