Project Manager 2

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 in Atlanta to lead moderately complex construction projects or assigned portions of larger projects. The role manages project operations, administration, safety, coordination, and financial performance, with a path toward Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead project safety efforts, preconstruction planning, procurement, buyout, submittals, scheduling, and closeout.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal resources.
• Manage change requests, pay applications, project documentation, budgets, cost forecasts, risk, and profitability.
• Lead progress, owner-architect-contractor, and project review meetings.
• Identify schedule and project risks and develop mitigation plans with the project team.
• Support estimating from conceptual design through guaranteed maximum price development and manage project business plans.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 7 years of construction management experience.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, presentations, communication, and Lean processes.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours as project needs require and lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits
