Project Manager 2- Baggage Handling Systems

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Manager 2 to lead operations and administration for moderately complex construction projects, with specialized responsibility for baggage handling system work. The role partners with field, design, owner, trade, vendor, and internal teams to deliver safe, well-coordinated, financially successful projects.

Project Details

This position focuses on baggage handling system construction scopes within airport-related projects and may support multiple or moderately complex assignments from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Direct project planning, procurement, buyout, submittals, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, vendors, field teams, logistics, and internal support groups.
• Lead safety initiatives, project meetings, change management, pay applications, reporting, and financial forecasting.
• Identify schedule, scope, labor, weather, and procurement risks and coordinate mitigation plans.
• Manage project documentation, deliverables, business plans, budgets, and profitability objectives.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 7 years of construction management experience.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, construction technology, and scheduling software.
• Working knowledge of construction means and methods, Lean practices, budgeting, and project processes.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in project-site or office environments.
