Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services is seeking a Project Manager for its California Buildings office in Glendale. This role provides leadership, technical direction, and contract administration for a medium-sized construction project.

Responsibilities

• Direct project execution to meet design, budget, resource, quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
• Develop the project safety plan and promote strong health and safety practices.
• Manage forecasts, schedules, performance reporting, risks, and project opportunities.
• Negotiate subcontracts, purchase orders, and progress payments while monitoring trade partner performance.
• Interpret and enforce contract requirements and coordinate project closeout.
• For design-build work, support design coordination, constructability reviews, quality audits, and stakeholder communication.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Eight to ten years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, building codes, construction law, and safety and quality practices.
• Strong budget, schedule, planning, organization, risk management, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and scheduling software, with the ability to learn new technology.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $130,000-$180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
