Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Florida Buildings Group in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami market. This is a senior-level role leading large, complex commercial construction projects from contract administration through closeout.

Project Details

Projects are typically $50M–$100M+ in scope and may include design-build deliveries. The Florida Buildings Group focuses on commercial building construction across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all contract administration, technical coordination, budget, schedule, quality, and safety on large or complex projects.
  • Lead and develop the project team, including direct and indirect reports, through coaching and mentorship.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontracts, major purchase orders, and progress payments.
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive project safety culture and oversee implementation of the project safety plan.
  • Manage design-build deliveries, including design compliance, constructability reviews, and stakeholder communication where applicable.
  • Develop and coordinate project commissioning and closeout activities.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of progressive construction experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and risks on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction law, building codes, safety principles, and quality management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management/scheduling software.
