Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead mid-size commercial building projects for its California Buildings division, based in Irvine. PCL is 100% employee-owned, giving every team member a stake in company success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract administration, technical execution, budget, schedule, and quality on assigned projects.
• Develop and implement the project safety plan and champion health and safety practices across the site.
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and progress payments.
• Identify, monitor, and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Provide regular performance status reports covering safety, cost forecast, and schedule.
• Coordinate overall project closeout and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• For design-build deliveries: monitor design progress, constructability, and quality compliance.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive construction experience, with demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability.
• Proven track record implementing a strong safety culture and applying EHS principles and legislation.
• In-depth knowledge of building materials, construction methods, specifications, codes, and quality management.
• Strong planning, organizational, and budget/schedule management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management/scheduling software.

Compensation and Benefits

$132,000–$198,000 annual base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) with company match, employee ownership opportunities, and industry-leading medical, dental, and vision benefits.
