Project Manager

Job Summary

PCL Construction is seeking a Project Manager for its Fargo office to lead contract administration, project delivery, safety, quality, cost, schedule, and stakeholder coordination on a medium-sized construction project.

Responsibilities

• Direct project execution to meet design, budget, resource, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Establish and champion project safety practices and procedures.
• Prepare performance reporting covering safety, cost forecasts, and schedule status.
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts, major purchase orders, and progress payments.
• Manage contracts, risks, opportunities, project closeout, and stakeholder expectations.
• For design-build work, coordinate design progress, constructability, quality reviews, compliance, and deliverables.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, construction law, building codes, safety, and quality management.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder relationships.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and scheduling software, with the ability to adopt new technology.
