Project Manager

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project delivery, working with the Superintendent and project team to manage safety, budget, schedule, contracts, quality, and trade coordination.

Project Details

Assignments may include projects with contract values up to $15 million or designated scopes within larger, complex projects. AP serves commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, multifamily, municipal, data center, and senior living markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution and promote a safe, collaborative work culture.
• Coordinate schedules, submittals, changes, procurement, closeout, and quality with the Superintendent and project partners.
• Manage trade contractor procurement, contracts, cost codes, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, pay applications, and project cost reporting.
• Assess constructability, cost feasibility, project risks, and trade scopes during preconstruction.
• Facilitate project meetings and communication among owners, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field plus 6+ years managing projects over $5 million; or an associate’s degree in construction management and 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and project management software. Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Procore, and Bluebeam are noted as useful programs.
• Understanding of value engineering, life-cycle costing, project financial processes, and construction quality standards.
• Experience with multiple contract types and CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it, along with company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel and work in varied, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $89,600-$143,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; HSA and flexible spending accounts; 401(k); paid time off and holidays; tuition assistance; and an employee referral bonus.
