Foreman

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Foreman to direct trade crews and help deliver safe, efficient, high-quality job-site work in Johnstown, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate work for construction crews, supporting teamwork, productivity, and quality.
• Track labor, materials, and staffing needs; conduct material quantity takeoffs and raise project priorities with the Superintendent or Project Manager.
• Check work against plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards, and keep the job site organized.
• Promote safe work practices, ensure required safety procedures are followed, and provide crew guidance and training.
• Communicate equipment maintenance needs and assist with trade work as needed.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least six years of directly related trades experience; further education in construction or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction software such as Procore, MS Project, Excel, Sure Trak, or AutoCAD.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, shop drawings, and product data, and to support job-site safety initiatives.
• Current or ability to meet OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel, accept extended out-of-town assignments, and perform physically demanding work in varied weather conditions.
• Forklift certification and a commercial driver's license are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $30.00-$40.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, HSA, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays, tuition assistance, and an employee referral bonus.
