DFH Foreman

Job Summary

Lead carpentry crews performing rough and finish work on building construction and alteration projects, maintaining quality, schedule, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, estimate labor and materials, track production, and assign crew work.
• Record crew time, maintain job records and inventory, and keep work areas organized.
• Prepare and manage job hazard analyses, coordinate safety and equipment training, and address potential field issues.
• Communicate professionally with clients and contractors, and mentor and oversee crew performance.

Required Experience

• At least two years of experience as a carpenter foreman or in a similar role.
• Journeyman carpenter license or certificate when required by the applicable jurisdiction.
• Knowledge of rough and finish carpentry, carpentry tools and safety practices, and new and remodel construction methods.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to meet physical job demands and work in varying weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

$37.70-$39.52 per hour.
