Healthcare Superintendent

Job Summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Healthcare Superintendent to lead field operations and coordinate with the project manager, owner, and design team.

Project Details

Healthcare projects are generally valued below $75 million, with some assignments involving designated components of larger, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct jobsite operations, trade coordination, safety, quality, productivity, schedule, and cost reporting.
• Maintain project schedules, drawings, site-specific safety and quality plans, and inspection records.
• Work with the owner and design team, support preconstruction planning, and coordinate project closeout.
• Lead safety meetings, address jobsite hazards, and uphold the company’s incident- and injury-free safety culture.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 6+ years of related experience; alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of related experience.
• Construction management software proficiency, such as Procore, P6, MS Project, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of building plans and specifications, value engineering, and life-cycle costing; demonstrated safety leadership and compliance.
• Current OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain it, along with company safety requirements. Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to travel to project sites and accept long-term out-of-town assignments; the role includes physical work and exposure to varied climate conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

Estimated pay is $87,000-$140,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, HSA, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays, tuition assistance, and an employee referral bonus.
