Job Summary
PCL Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical and instrumentation-and-controls systems work in San Diego. This role manages project delivery from planning through closeout and reports daily to the Clearwater Way jobsite.
Responsibilities
- Administer contracts and oversee safety, quality, budget, resources, and schedule performance.
- Manage subcontractors, purchase orders, progress payments, project reporting, and closeout activities.
- Review contract requirements, identify risks and opportunities, and develop value-engineering recommendations.
- Coordinate design progress, constructability, quality audits, and stakeholder communication on design-build work.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Eight to ten years of progressive construction experience; leadership and mentoring experience are preferred.
- Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, methods, codes, contracts, safety, and quality management.
- Ability to manage project budgets and schedules, control risk, and build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management, and scheduling software.
Compensation and Benefits
