Project Manager Kiewit Power Delivery Engineering

Job Summary

Kiewit is hiring a senior Engineering Project Manager for its Power Delivery team in Lone Tree, Colorado. This role leads engineering execution, technical coordination, and client delivery for utility power projects.

Project Details

The team delivers engineering and design services for transmission, substations, distribution, automation, and related electric utility work for clients across North America.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering staff, designers, consultants, staffing plans, schedules, and delivery activities across multiple projects.
• Manage scope, quality, budget, schedule, project controls, risk, change, and work-hour planning.
• Coordinate with owners and design partners while maintaining effective client relationships.
• Lead project reviews, develop action plans, and support successful project performance.
• Mentor design personnel and strengthen the technical capabilities of the team.

Required Experience

• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Design Manager, or Engineering Manager with engineering, estimating, contracts, and client-relations responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or comparable related experience.
• Professional Engineer licensure is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction standards, scheduling, contracts, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency with project administration software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and collaboration skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation is $152,000/yr-$160,000/yr. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, wellness, employee assistance, life and disability insurance, retirement plans with matching, and paid time off.
