Project Manager - Life Sciences / Biotech

Job Summary

Manage construction projects in the life sciences and biotech sector from preconstruction through closeout, guiding the project team toward successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Establish project budgets and contract pricing, negotiate subcontract and material purchases, and manage procurement.
• Coordinate schedules, documentation, contract compliance, quality control, safety planning, and project reporting.
• Lead and develop the project team while maintaining productive relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and the superintendent.
• Direct preconstruction, support estimating and business development, mitigate claims, and complete closeout and warranty follow-up.

Required Experience

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Five to eight years of field construction management experience, including supervisory experience.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, communication, drafting, and computer skills.
• Knowledge of contract law, project accounting, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and estimating.
