Job Summary

Primoris Heavy Civil is seeking a Project Manager to direct heavy civil construction projects in Louisiana, guiding work from initial planning through closeout while managing schedule, budget, safety, and quality.

Project Details

The Louisiana portfolio includes heavy civil transportation and infrastructure work such as highways, bridges, earthwork, and utilities. Primoris Heavy Civil also delivers port, airfield, rail, and marine construction services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, procurement, and closeout.
• Coordinate superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, costs, quality, safety, and project risks; take corrective action as needed.
• Manage subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, invoices, and project reporting.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of heavy civil construction project management experience, specifically in Louisiana.
• Experience delivering complex heavy civil projects and knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office; ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; valid driver’s license and ability to travel to Louisiana job sites.

Compensation and Benefits
