Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Job Summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through execution in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This employee-owned organization offers a leadership opportunity within its water business.

Project Details

The role supports multi-million-dollar water and wastewater programs, including treatment facilities, linear infrastructure, planning, asset management, and related engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost, schedule, quality, risk, contractual compliance, safety, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, startup, and third-party contributors.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee engineering managers, staff projects, and develop performance goals.
• Support business development through market strategy, proposals, client presentations, budgeting, and contracting.
• Manage client relationships, project reviews, budgets, invoicing, payments, and project execution.
• Coach team members and support training, promotion, and talent development.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of program or project management and technical experience.
• Background in water and wastewater treatment, linear infrastructure planning and design, and asset management.
• Business development and project management experience.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Ability to complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
