Job Summary
Garney is seeking a Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater construction projects in Tampa. The role requires prior project management experience in this sector and responsibility for project delivery, financial performance, field leadership, and client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage project costs, work-in-progress projections, labor forecasts, and financial performance.
- Plan and schedule construction activities and administer project contracts.
- Supervise job site management personnel and coordinate field operations.
- Develop owner relationships and handle contract discussions.
- Negotiate material purchases and maintain procurement activities.
- Set and enforce job site safety expectations.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Seven to ten years of construction experience.
- Previous project management experience in water and wastewater construction.
- Successful candidates must complete applicable background screening and may be required to undergo a post-offer physical and site-specific background check.
