Senior Project Engineer

Job Summary

PCL Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its Civil West team in Ventura, California. This role supports construction operations, contract administration, project coordination, and field execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs, surveys, progress reporting, and change-management documentation.
• Administer subcontracted scopes, including work definition, inquiries, progress tracking, and contract documents.
• Support project startup, submittal reviews, site inspections, deficiency resolution, and systems commissioning.
• Identify potential risks and coordinate project requirements across construction disciplines.

Required Experience

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Four to six years of operational construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, methods, drawings, specifications, HSE, quality, materials, and applicable standards.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, planning, organization, scheduling, and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with subcontract administration, contract documents, Microsoft Office, and operational technology systems.

Compensation and Benefits
