Senior Project Engineer, Mission Critical

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for its Advanced Facilities Group. The role supports mission-critical and advanced industrial construction, managing a small project or an assigned portion of a complex project with guidance from project leadership.

Project Details

The Advanced Facilities Group delivers large industrial and manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects for innovative clients. Work may take place at project sites or in the office.

Responsibilities

• Support safety, quality, estimating, change management, procurement, scheduling, and project administration.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, submittals, inspections, meetings, pay applications, and material deliveries.
• Monitor manpower, production, equipment, quantities, costs, risks, and schedule performance.
• Prepare project reports, drawings, specifications, procurement logs, and progress updates.
• Lead assigned-scope closeout, including punch lists, inspections, as-built drawings, and operations and maintenance documentation.
• Help develop self-perform opportunities, apply Lean practices, and mentor team members.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of construction experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management and accounting software, and applicable construction technology.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, Lean practices, self-perform work, labor productivity, and project processes.
• Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, collaborate with project stakeholders, and support production and profitability goals.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in varied weather and physical conditions.
