Senior Project Manager - Healthcare Construction

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex healthcare construction projects in Atlanta. The role owns project execution, administration, financial performance, safety, and client coordination from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Direct project teams and coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field operations.
• Lead preconstruction activities including estimating, quantity takeoffs, bid packages, scope reviews, buyout, and subcontract awards.
• Manage schedules, submittals, procurement, change requests, pay applications, project documentation, and closeout.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, costs, margins, risks, and contingency use to support project profitability.
• Lead safety planning, incident follow-up, project meetings, reporting, and mitigation of schedule or field impacts.
• Support client presentations, marketing efforts, business development, and team development.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of construction management experience.
• Experience managing complex or multiple construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, estimating, budgets, GMP or hard bids, scheduling, risk management, and Lean practices.
• Intermediate proficiency with CMiC or comparable project accounting software, scheduling tools, BIM, construction technology, and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and ability to work non-traditional hours as project needs require.

Project Details

The position supports healthcare construction work in the Atlanta area and may involve project-site and office assignments, travel, or relocation.

Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform occasional standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Work may involve hot or cold conditions and frequent computer-based activity.
