Senior Project Manager, MEP Operations Lead

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Project Manager, MEP Operations Lead to direct complex construction projects or multiple projects, with responsibility for operational execution, administration, financial performance, safety, and project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities including estimating, scope development, trade coordination, bid packaging, buyout, and subcontract awards.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and internal resources.
• Manage submittals, schedules, procurement, change requests, pay applications, project reporting, cost forecasting, and closeout.
• Identify and mitigate risks involving safety, schedule, quality, cost, subcontractors, and project execution.
• Lead project meetings, support client and senior-management discussions, negotiate project issues, and develop external relationships.
• Promote an injury-free workplace and support diversity and inclusion throughout the organization.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 10 years of construction management experience.
• Working knowledge of construction processes, budgeting, GMP or hard-bid development, estimating, scheduling, BIM, Lean practices, and project administration.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, CMiC or comparable project accounting software, scheduling software, BIM tools, and construction technology.
• Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
