Senior Superintendent

Job Summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex or multiple construction projects from planning through closeout. This role directs field teams, coordinates project execution, and drives safe, timely, quality-focused, and profitable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, staff, site logistics, workflow, and self-perform operations.
• Plan and adjust construction sequencing, schedules, staffing, materials, equipment, and project resources.
• Lead safety, quality, daily operations, trade meetings, owner-architect-contractor meetings, and project reviews.
• Monitor project costs, changes, risks, documentation, reports, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate with project management, field leadership, owners, design teams, authorities, and vendors.
• Support pursuits, buyout, training, business development, client relationships, and recruiting.
• Promote an injury-free, inclusive workplace and investigate safety incidents as needed.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of construction experience, including 8 or more years in field supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, trade scopes, self-perform work, labor productivity, layout, crane flagging, and rigging.
• Experience with project management, accounting, scheduling, construction technology, and MS Office applications.
• Lean construction experience is preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to lift at least 50 pounds required.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours and work in varying weather conditions.
