Project Superintendent

Job Summary

The Christman Company seeks a Project Superintendent to lead field operations in the Greensboro, North Carolina area.

Responsibilities

• Review design documents for constructability, phasing, logistics, and field efficiencies.
• Set project expectations for safety, quality, housekeeping, and site conduct; develop and communicate project-specific safety plans.
• Coordinate site logistics, trade contractors, work plans, schedules, inspections, and permits.
• Interpret construction documents, coordinate quality planning and overlapping trade work, and manage submittals and punch lists.
• Prepare daily progress, weather, and safety reports, and support project purchasing and trade contractor evaluations.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least five years of commercial construction experience in a Foreman or Superintendent leadership role.
• Training or coursework in construction management, project management, safety, or communication.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, job cost reporting, site methods, and trade coordination.
• Effective planning, problem-solving, written communication, and relationship-building skills.
