Project Superintendent

Job Summary

The Christman Company is hiring a Project Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial construction projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth region. This full-time role is primarily based at the construction site, with extended hours and weekends possible.

Project Details

Projects are based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Preferred leadership experience includes multiple projects valued from $500,000 to $5 million and larger projects up to $40 million.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents for constructability, phasing, logistics, and field requirements.
• Coordinate site safety, logistics, trade contractors, schedules, inspections, and project quality.
• Lead work planning and progress meetings with the project manager, client, and trade contractors.
• Track field progress, document daily conditions, manage punch lists, and respond to issues or conflicts.
• Support team learning, professional development, and effective project partnerships.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least five years of commercial construction leadership experience as a foreman or superintendent.
• Training in construction management, project management, safety, or communication.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, jobsite safety, and subcontractor supervision.
• Basic skills with Outlook, Excel, Word, Procore, and BIM, and a strong understanding of Microsoft Project.
• OSHA 30-Hour and First Aid/CPR are preferred.
