Senior Superintendent

Job Summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex or multiple construction projects from planning through closeout. The role manages field teams, coordinates project execution, and drives safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client objectives in Tulsa.

Responsibilities

• Direct subcontractors, suppliers, company staff, and multiple superintendents across assigned projects.
• Plan construction sequencing, develop work plans, and manage schedules, staffing, materials, equipment, and site logistics.
• Lead safety, quality, trade, owner-architect-contractor, and project review meetings.
• Monitor project progress, costs, changes, risks, documentation, and closeout activities.
• Coordinate with project management, design teams, owners, authorities, logistics, and other internal resources.
• Support pursuits, project buyout, client relationships, business development, and team recruiting.
• Promote Lean practices, workforce development, diversity, and an injury-free project environment.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; a construction management, engineering, or related bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of construction experience and 8 years of field supervision experience.
• Advanced communication, presentation, construction methods, trade, self-perform, productivity, layout, and rigging knowledge.
• Intermediate proficiency with project management, accounting, scheduling, and construction technology software.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, project risks, document changes, and collaborative project teams.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work non-traditional hours when project needs require.
