Senior Superintendent - Healthcare (HCAi & Behavioral) OC/LA/IE

Job Summary

Lead field construction operations and guide project teams toward safe, high-quality completion of healthcare projects in the Orange County, Los Angeles, and Inland Empire regions.

Project Details

The role requires experience with HCAi and behavioral healthcare projects and may oversee multiple projects across a broad geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate field staff and subcontractor work, maintaining project schedules and quality standards.
• Enforce safety requirements, participate in safety training, and verify subcontractor insurance documentation.
• Review plans, specifications, and submittals; lead project meetings and coordinate materials and tools.
• Track field progress and documentation, including reports, punch lists, testing, turnover, and closeout.
• Build effective working relationships with owners and architects and travel as management requires.

Required Experience

• Healthcare HCAi and behavioral project experience.
• At least eight years of superintendent experience and extensive field construction supervisory experience.
• Engineering, construction management, or architecture degree, or equivalent experience.
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor certification, or ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Working knowledge of construction trades, OSHA requirements, scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control; prior foreman, journeyman, or project engineer experience.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency.

Compensation and Benefits
